Chockablock Full of House Socks

This was the first time I'd ever made socks. They were fun and easy to do. The pattern for the large girl's socks in taupe may be found in Twelve Months of Knitting by Joanne Yordanou (2008), and the pattern for the toddler's two-tone green socks is found in Simply Baby by Debbie Bliss (2006).

  1. Nice! Did you watch the sock dvd I gave you? Did you make them one at a time or both at once? Did you use double pointed or circular?
I need to do some knitting!

  2. Thanks, Paula! I did watch the video, and I will eventually try making 2 socks together. When Jim's aunt died, I ended up with a whole collection of knitting needles including various double-pointed needles. Since I already had those handy, I made the socks one at a time, complete with gussets.

Yes, knit!!! I feel bad posting so much, but I have such a passion for making stuff. It's one of the chief ways I expend all that pent-up creative energy I have.

    Happy knitting!

  3. Don't feel bad about posting stuff!

Usually I am totally obsessed with knitting like you are. I have sort of shifted my focus to working out right now. But, I think the knitting fever is coming back.
