I just got back from snowboarding in Tahoe. While away, I began knitting a "rasta" hat for Jim. He has a pretty big head so I had to cast on 110 stitches with size 10 needles. I used a variegated yarn (red, yellow and green) and planned to make two black stripes. Well, I added the stripes a bit too high up so I had to balance it out by making the hat longer. Jim assured me he could just fold the edge up. I finished the hat yesterday and had Damon try it on before Jim got home. You can see the result... Jim got home and it actually fit him!
